Upon arrival at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, your tour begins with a visit to the Wagah Border, where you can witness the famous Beating Retreat Ceremony, a powerful display of military camaraderie and showmanship between Indian and Pakistani soldiers. Later in the evening, visit the iconic Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), the spiritual heart of Sikhism and one of the most visited religious sites in the world. The temple complex also houses the Amrit Sarovar, and serves free meals (Langar) to over 100,000 people daily, regardless of faith or background.
You may also visit Jallianwala Bagh, a poignant memorial commemorating the 1919 massacre of innocent civilians by British troops, featuring bullet-marked walls and a preserved well where many jumped to escape the firing. If time allows, you can also visit Durgiana Temple, a beautiful Hindu shrine that resembles the Golden Temple in structure, dedicated to Goddess Durga.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie, a charming hill station in Himachal Pradesh situated at an altitude of 1,970 meters. Known for its colonial-era charm, dense forests, meadows, and waterfalls, Dalhousie was established in 1854 and named after Lord Dalhousie. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the serene surroundings.

After breakfast, begin your local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Visit Panchpula, a popular picnic spot known for its scenic waterfalls and adventure activities like rock climbing and rope work. Next, head to St. Patrick’s Church, one of the oldest churches in Dalhousie, built by British Army officers in 1909.
In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to Khajjiar, also known as the Mini Switzerland of India. Located 26 km from Dalhousie, this idyllic spot features lush green meadows, a small lake, and panoramic views. Adventure activities like paragliding, horse riding, and zorbing are also available for those interested.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Dharamshala, the spiritual capital of Tibetan Buddhism in India and the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing tour. Visit St. John in the Wilderness Church, a peaceful neo-Gothic structure set amidst deodar forests, built in 1852 and known for its beautiful stained-glass windows.
Next, proceed to the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, located in McLeodganj. This serene space includes large statues of Lord Buddha, Avalokiteshwara, and Guru Padmasambhava, and offers visitors the chance to participate in morning prayers and spiritual teachings. Later, visit the sacred Bhagsunath Temple, nestled amid lush surroundings, and the nearby Dal Lake, a quiet spot surrounded by deodar trees.

After breakfast, set out for a day excursion covering three key attractions near Dharamshala. Start with a visit to Kangra Fort, the largest fort in the Himalayas and one of the oldest in India. Built by Maharaja Susharma Chandra of the Katoch dynasty, the fort spans 463 acres and offers breathtaking views and historical significance.
Continue to Palampur, a scenic hill station known for its tea gardens and numerous streams. The town’s name is derived from “Pulum,” meaning abundant water. Later, visit the revered Chamunda Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali and also considered the abode of Lord Shiva and Mata Shakti. Situated on the banks of the Baner River, this temple showcases beautiful old-world architecture.
