Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Shillong, famously known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at Umiam Lake, a picturesque reservoir surrounded by sylvan hills, where optional water sports can be enjoyed (at additional cost). Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel. In the evening, you may explore Police Bazaar, the city’s main commercial hub.

Overnight stay will be in Shillong.

After an early breakfast, depart for Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft), recognized as one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, stop at Mawdok Dympep Valley View Point for panoramic views. In Cherrapunjee, visit major attractions including the Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), and the famous Mawsmai Caves. On the return journey, stop at the scenic Elephant Falls.

Overnight stay at hotel

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, visit Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays) and Ward’s Lake in Shillong. Later, proceed on a scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, home of the famed One-Horned Rhinoceros. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Early morning, enjoy an Elephant Safari in the Western or Central Range of Kaziranga National Park. This immersive ride offers close encounters with wildlife such as rhinos, deer, wild buffaloes, elephants, and possibly even tigers. Return to the resort for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free for leisure. In the afternoon, proceed for a Jeep Safari in the Central (Kohora) Range, where sightings of rhinos, elephants, and other fauna amidst lush grasslands are common. Later, visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park, a beautiful floral garden showcasing regional flora. Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Note: Safari timings are controlled by the Forest Department. Jeep Safari is available between 7:30 AM–10:00 AM and 1:30 PM–3:00 PM. Elephant rides are only conducted in the morning hours.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Guwahati. En route, stop to visit the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon (temple timings: 08:00 AM – 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM till dusk). Upon arrival in Guwahati, check in at your hotel. In the evening, you may choose to enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River (available on a direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the oldest and most revered Shakti Peethas in India. After the temple visit, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
