After your arrival in Coimbatore, you will begin your journey to Thekkady, a well-known destination in Kerala famed for its lush forests and wildlife. Once you reach Thekkady, you will check into your hotel and have the evening at leisure to relax or explore the nearby area at your own pace.
Overnight stay at hotel
After breakfast at the hotel, you will spend the full day exploring the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in South India. Here, you can enjoy a jungle safari or a serene boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering a chance to spot elephants, deer, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat. In the evening, you can shop for local spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs in the local markets.
Overnight stay at hotel
After breakfast, you will check out and visit Mullaperiyar Dam, a historic and scenic spot, followed by a stop at Pandikuzhi Viewpoint, known for its lush greenery and panoramic views. You will also visit the Periyar Honey Bee Farm, a small but interesting place showcasing honey production.
